Dear Lord...

... I´ve been very lazy due to the fact that I promised you to keep in tough every sunday. So here I am on a Thursday thinking about you, fashion and the upcoming season. I do really feel ashamed to write these sentences above all my posts :D But thats life, right?! Lot of stuff to do, new job, new gains and like I said Winter is coming...Brrrr.

Update #1 - Coat for the Cold

Thats my new jacket or coat for the freezing degrees here in Germany. Its from Zara and has these funky crazy red zipper details at the sides and at the sleeves. I am not quite sure if its enough for the winter, maybe I will combine it with a fleece jacket from Bench.

Update #2 - Out with the Old

I am happy to say that I managed to sort out my whole wardrobe! There are just a few things left like jackets, pullovers and investigations which I still like. But old shirts or things I haven't worn in a while landed in the second hand collection. Maybe someone else can give it a go ;) Now I can start from the beginning and I will also overthink what I will buy next. I mean things I really need!

Update #3 - hair care for a curly girl

I´ve found MY shampoo. Its from KMS California, their tame frizz series. I´ve ordered the shampoo at feelunique and I bloody love it (also available here)! Thanks to Rosie from thelondoner ;) Blow drying and straightening on an higher level...It really goes easier ( I am a curly girl) after I used it. And my hair stays like this all day long. I really can recommend it, because I am using it now for a while and I will purchase it again. Next time I will also buy the leave in taming creme. No frizzy hair anymore. Thumbs up!
My hair after using the shampoo...and nothing else ;)

So this is it for today. See you soon!

Rainy Days coming up…

Now you can definitely say: „Hello Fall!“. It´s October and since Thursday it is really freezing and for sure too cold for a easy breezy Parka. I mean it´s constantly raining and the sun is gone (maybe on her way to Australia, cause the summer is knocking on the door of Oz). So the next step has to be a wish list for my up coming Winter jacket and boots and soooo on. (keep you up-to-date for this point). But for the moment I will introduce you to my summer purchase. The lovely Rubber-Boots aka Wellington Boots, Hunter Boots or just Wellies. In case you´ve wondered- Yes you heard right “SUMMER PURCHASE”. I bought them in Spain, when I was on holidays. I wasn´t prepared for a super duper rainy weather in this little place called “Comillas”. So you can imagine how my face looked when my Mum and I arrived there. It´s was cold and my sandals were dismissed! As we did a lil bit of shopping through the tiny shops and boutiques my eyes crossed the floor in one of these shops. And there they were standing the one and only Hunter boots. I loved them since I first saw them on celebs from Glastonbury like Kate Moss or Sienna Miller. Love at first sight! But the price was the main thing, why I decided for years NOT to buy them. Besides that I have never seen them in a shop, just Online-shops like net-a-porter or zalando. So I was in this shop and  I looked to these boots , a classical black, and had the feeling they were looking back to me- like a magical get- together. Ok maybe it´s a little bit extreme but it felt like this. I grabbed them, tried them and saw the price. It was unbelievable. They were on a huge Sale. Not a 10% sale! Noooooo, they were reduced from 105€ down to 50 euros. Like I said: magical ;) I can´t believe I left this shop after this meeting just to think about buying them. Crazy. Right?! After 2 hours I returned to this boutique and was glad to see them standing there alone waiting for me. Love! They came up in a big carton and a shoe-bag. When I arrived at the hotel I studied the information about this boots given to me. I was really surprised by the fact that the material - of this helper through the rain - is natural rubber. No artificial rubber! Amaaaazing. When I see these clouds hanging out there, I am not worried anymore, cause the hunter boots will keep my feet warm, cozy and dry! A dream isn´t it?! Hunter - an extraordinary way to manage the rainy days in autumn. Thumbs up!
Crazy combination in Comillas

So if you see a Sale like the one in Comillas GRAB THEM. If you don´t see one, it doesn´t matter, cause now I can say they are worth the price and the hype. They are robust, classy and they don´t sell you down the river.

Camino de Santiago: From Ribadesella to Gijon!

So we arrived in Santander with Ryanair and took the bus to Ribadesella and one day later we took our Rucksacks and let the journey began. It was very exciting and we walked mostly beside the coast. So we had always our eyes in the direction of the sea.

For the accommodations we tried twice the pilgrim hostels. They are very cheap for pilgrims. As the case may be you just had to pay 5€ for one night. Its more like a donation for the hostels... Mostly you get a bed in one big room with other 20 or more people (just other pilgrims). You share a kitchen and a bath with all of them.

Sure its not the most luxurious way of traveling, but we did want to do it properly like a real pilgrim, you know. After 3 days we walked more than 80 km from Ribadesella to Gijon. It was an adventure and I think I will do it again. Maybe next year with more time to do it. We just had planned one week for 80km, but ended up with 80km in 3 days :-D...

Nicest thing that happended?!

A Dog followed us on our way through the wilderness. Once we had a rest, because my Mum needed it and I was hungry. So we paused on a wall with some food. After we decided to go forward, a dog passed our way. He was very handsome. He had red fur and looked like a fox. He saw us, ate our cheese rind and it has happened. Since this magical moment he never let us go! He left his home and walked with us. It was a crazy experience. It never happened to me. So he came along with us more than 10 km. He loved us. Really. And we loved him since the first moment. But we decided to leave him in a small suburb at a spanish bar, where the people loved him aswell. We couldn´t take him with us into the city.Never! It was very hard to leave him. We gave him our complete food and walked to the next station Gijon. Now I have him in my mind. I called him „Queso“. The spanish word for cheese :-D So look how nice he was!
What I´ve learned?!

The reason I´ve wanted to walk a part of the Camino de Santiago was to calm down from Uni, work and everyday life. After a lot of essays and a lot of working and no free time for myself I´ve felt leached out. I was demotivated and wanted to do something else. It had to be something where I leave my home and my usual space to think about other things, about myself and about things that have to change in the near future. So here I am, not a whole NEW ME , but I´ve thought about a lot of things and one thing is to write more blog posts, to work out more than just once a week and enjoy the last year at uni. I can really recommend it warmly to you. It´s new and refreshing. You just walk and have time to think! And maybe you will also fell in love with a dog called Queso ;)

See you next time!

Beach at Comillas, Spain (2013)

It´s been a while since my last post. I´ve been very busy and Uni was this year very exhausting! I think my last post was 2012, but I decided to give it a go again and try to post at least once a week :) So I will update you now every sunday and when it goes its way I will do it more often. Give me time xD

What happened this week...?!

It was a quite easy week. I came back from Holidays at Tuesday and until now I was planning my next week. I travelled to Rauma with my boyfriend for one week, which is in Finland and after I came back I travelled with my Mum to Spain. The reason for it?! Our project: to go a part on the pilgrimage to Santiago... to be continued.

Besides that I discovered on my journeys a lot of beauty products, which I´ve cross-eyed for a very long time. And I bought some fashion stuff which I introduce to you in the next posts! ( I just say Welliiiiiiiiies ;)

I keep you updated! Keep an eye on me o.o
